Default Which coilovers to go with????

I've been looking at the megan coilovers for my tc and I was wondering whether or not they are good....The price seems low(compared to others), but does it matter? Also i hear that they are single tube design and not twin...whats the difference....
PS if you can name another set of coilovers thats good and a bit on the cheaper side please do.......thanx so much..any help will be greatly appreciated

address to meganm coilovers- http://www.street-power.com/merasctc04co.html

haven't heard rave reviews about megan, and there's a reason they're so cheap. search around more a few have H&R and kSport. not so many with JIC. oh and of course Tein.

never understood why people ho cheap on certain parts. go cheap on your carpet or "suede" dash, not your suspension, wheels or engine.

thank you for saying this.....I would go with HKS...there is GB right got 1100 shipped which is below cost...the HKS coils run about $1500-1800.

Here's a link to the TRD Coilovers and we have them for $25.00 over our cost at $1125.00. Drop them in the shopping cart to check shipping. http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1619

thanks glad someone agrees. i just don't understand the philosophy. i get not knowing or being educated, but 1)do some homework to find the what the market has to offer and 2) don't state i want cheap suspension, engine or wheels/tires. you normally get what you pay for.

I know that typically you get what you pay for...but I also believe that the most e xpensive mod or item or w/e isnt always necessarily the best....I would like to get the best suspension for the money you know? but I can see what your saying....anyways....do any of you know anyone that has the megan coilovers...and where could you get the HR and K-sport (maybe tein) for a good price? any recommended sites? ty once again

Do not buy the Megan coilovers, they had major issues with the back coilovers going bad. Invest in something good like Nebster and purpled said. It will be better in the long run...

better help with the install though. it's mad unattractive to see an able body guy letting someone esle do ALL the work on his car, while they simply watch. LOL

lol of course we'd be there to help as well ....He and I have never done any kind of suspension work before so the intelligent mind would be needed (thats you davedave) if its possible...I know that you know how to do it..and if you would be willing to assist us we would definately help and we could learn for the future through the process.. thanx man
