Went to a autox yesterday. I left the bar on the middle setting but even then the car felt so much better pushing it around the corner. Oversteer only happened once. It was on my first one and almost went off course and into to the trees. Here is a bit of rough cut video. The wind is a bit excessive so forgive me of that. Their was a cone harmed during the making of all my film.

So for everyone without a front sway bar... Which setting are you installing it on? I went through a couple threads and I'm assuming the middle?

When I finally get around to installing it, I'm probably going to do softest for daily driving and middle/hardest for auto-x.

i left mine on the middle setting due it was the best i felt for my driving style. I would install it and try the settings for yourself.

Do you mean without an aftermarket front sway or with no front sway (the car comes stock with a front sway bar) ?

I am running the stock FSB with the rear bar set on the middle setting for daily driving and full stiff at autox events.

I have mine on the softest setting but I don't AutoX. I just like to drive like a dumbarse at times to enjoy the sway.

I drove 26 miles without a sway bar today and it was for sure unstable. Can't wait to install the sways.

I wanted an extreme comparison. HAHA...no sadly I went to JBA autoworks to get the rusted nuts off. I know the shop owner so I figured why not. However, I got lost and ended up driving a little further then I wanted. FML. Oh wells, now I know how crappy it is to have no bar for a long period of time.

Well. I'm not sure. I have got my entire suspenion at the same time.
So between my progress coils, progress 25 mm sway, ingalls rear brace. The thing handles amazing. On rails!!!!
I'm sure if I started with the medium setting and then went to the stiffest I probally wouldn't like it. But I got use to it. Lol

i started out with my sway on medium and before i went to autox i threw it on the stiffest and OMG it was amazing with coils and good tires. i havnt autocrossed in about 2 years i would say and i beat out s2ks, an evo and a bunch of other misc cars. hit up the mountains today with a bunch of cars and its really nice in the twistes. i tried to do a hard throttle lift around a few turns on the course and i couldnt get it to do a 180 but there was a kid there that had the hotchkis set and he spun out.

The car will snap oversteer a LOT easier with it on the stiffest setting. It is not when you are driving spiritedly that it will occur as much since you are ready for it. It is when you are least suspecting and needing to make an emergency maneuver on the street.

If the kid with the hotchkis setup just about spun, then you would have easier in the same circumstances since you are running less front bar and more rear than he is.

And I could put my tC sideways if I wanted with throttle lift, at 5000+ rpm in second gear stock, on a TRD setup and now with my Tein SS-ps and this bar... on RE-01R's.

yea i understand that cuz i used to get it sideways with out the sway, but i was surprised that redlining 2nd on a slolam and lifting off the throttle during a turn it wouldnt do it. over all i was very happy with the suspension set-up. an instructor that drives a supra was very surprised at how well the car handled on the course being fwd.

i love this bar....was a little scared that after I put the car back on the ground (installed SS=Ps this weekend as well) that is was going to rub.

Question I have is...how much side-to-sid eplay are the endlinks supposed to have? Drivers side doesnt really pivot at all, but the passenger side is really easy to do.
