Anybody notice if there power steering fluid is very dark for a low mileage vehicle? Have you had a dealership look at it & what is their response?

so no one else has very dark power steering fluid at 20,000 miles ? just curious. i was told that it was because the part was made of aluminum & the aluminum stained the power steering fluid. ive never heard of that before so i wasnt sure if anyone else was having the same issue or if im the only one.

Ive had the car for a yr and 2 months. & at around 15k is when i noticed it.

I was told the power steering fluid pump was made of aluminum which i thought was bs but what do i know.

oh, the PUMP
if the fluid is dark, it should be flushed

i flushed mine at around 12k
gonna flush it again soon, have 27k on it now

im going to flush it but ive never had to change it that soon. not a huge deal but i wanted to see if anyone else noticed it.
