^^ he said he got the TRD and the factory interior lights

which really isn't much for the dealer... they'd fork up that loss to get a deal..

well i see correctly you said you paid somewhere near 22k, you would have had to add some pretty big stuff to get it that high. I added the extended warranty, a paint protection warrenty from my dealer, the upgraded headunit and mine was like 20k.

It is possible the dealer added that for someone added when they ordered the car. Do you have the window sticker for the car

you dont have it, the weight of the engine will give enough pressure to make both wheels spin with an open diff.

If you want to test it lift the car while it is running, your drive tire will rotate by itself your "dead" tire will not, LSD neither or both will spin

^im interested in that as well but you should not ignore the fact that you paid too much for your tC. 22K without financing? That would be a major rip off. Plus dealers never give anything for free, they always make you pay somehow. I paid 19 thousand and 23 with financing.

better... lift the car... place tranny in neutral.

spin one tire by hand... if the other tire spins in the same direction.. you got LSD.
spins opposite.. well.. you don't.

Are you sure about that because from what i understood, and i have been wrong before, if you lifted it in the air a lsd will act like an open diff, just like the ice test

the only lsd that will spin in the same direction is the fluid diff not mechanical or clutch

ugh...dude...you do not have an LSD in your tC if you bought it brand new from the dealership. the LSD is a $1000 dollar part, and is a very difficult installation job. the no dealership would just have it done, and no charge for it and not have it documented somewhere.

now then...i remember long long ago, ZPI did a video begging for quaife to make them an LSD for the scion (and thank god they answered). anyway, they had the driver side tire on wet pavement, and the other on dry. they had parking brake up, and the guys held down the passenger side fender to put weight and traction on that side. they dumped the clutch and got the driverside tire spinning and spinning and spinning, while the passenger side tire did nothing.

now that is kinda dangerous, but it is the only way i can really think of to prove to yourself once and for all that you don't have LSD.

I would say if it was sold as a new car it would have been on the window sticker as well. I wish I had a test for you other than what has already been suggested. but I guarantee you that there is no way with Pure Pricing that they thew this in to sweeten the deal:

http://trdsparks.com/displayparts.ph...&parts_id=1310

Including labor and parts you are talking probaly almost $1400. If you have it you should go get a lottery ticket, but I am 99.9% sure you don't unless it was on the window sticker.
