Do I need a lift to install a progess sway bar?

I installed mine when it was on the ground. It makes it a LOT easier to get the old bar out and the new bar in if you disconnect the muffler and pull it off the hanger closest to the flange. I did need to get it jacked up around 4" to get one of the bolts back in. I couldn't get my arm to twist the necessary amount, but only for 1 bolt.
