its not the best thing for the car
keep away from the wheel hop.....or you'll be buying new axles

ive only done it once, and it was not intentional
popped my pants just a bit, cuz i was D1 style sideways, DEF almost wrecked

shouldn't run a hard corner with cold/bald rear tires

wheels skipping on road surface, instead of staying flat to the ground

things break easily with hop

you could do it 1,000 times and nothing happen
its just NOT a good thing to do or have happen, the possibilities of something breaking are a lil higher

If you arent familiar with the terms "wheel hop" or similar terms you probably shouldnt be driving it hard until you have had a bit more experience

Seriously though, as mentioned, you could do it 1,000 times without breaking anything, or 50 times and snap an axle, damage a motor mount, etc. Its just one of those things, dont beat on it, same as any car. You can drive a car hard without tearing it up. Driving a car hard has a lot to do with being smooth and precise. Just dont keep it in wheel hop, dont dump the clutch suddenly at 3000 rpm over and over, dont slip the clutch a lot, dot ride the brakes... you get the picture.

burnouts will wear out wheel bearings faster....so do super low profile tires.

i enjoy taking corners pretty hard... i know it's horrible... it's a wide corner turning left... it's like down hill then left at the light... it's very bad... i'm horrible... i downshift to second (or even 1st every once in a blue moon) and just screech into and out of the corner... the kicker... i drive auto

I really want to know how you'd drift a FWD car? I know guys that will put McDonalds trays under the back wheels and pull the brake up. But that's still not drifting it's just sliding the car around. lol

Oh and yes burning out can tear your car up.

no, thats called traying
only way to drift FWD is to pull e-brake, which isn't tru drifting
or if you can get a nice set of bald tires, or a heavy back end....swing that a** out and you got it

like i said above, happened to me, thought i was in my boss's M3...but realized i wasn't, but i was sideways accidently....kinda scary

I remember tray sliding! Used to do it in my turbo 02 Civic haha...

NOTHING is better then doing psyclones though. AWD spins are easily one of the funnest things to do, and without a doubt the most exhilerating haha... My Evo liked to hang out in a lot of wet parking lots

Another way to cure wheel hop if you are drving hard is to get and install a "STIFFY ENGINE DAMPER" goggle it and you will find out more.
