Default Espelir Lowering Springs

Just curious is anyone has heard of these or know anything about the quality? (Espelir Active Super Down Lowering Springs (1.6f 1.6r drop) ($207.00)) I do not think I have ever seen these mentioned on this site but I found them on PTuning. They seem like the perfect middle ground between stechs and higher springs like TRD or htechs with having a 1.6 even drop.

Here is the link:

http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Des...l&ModelDesc=tC

Question Added:

The higher the numbers for spring rates equals a stiffer ride, am I correct in saying this?

Great springs, from a fantastic company! A+ quality. My friend is one of the few tC's with those and he claims the ride is very good.

1. I believe this photo was taken when the springs were first installed, so they haven't had time to settle fully. Sadly, I couldn't find any new updated photos.

2. The ground looks to be sloping down also, so that could accentuate the higher rear.

I began doing a lot of research on these last night through the all mighty google and it seems that this company has been making springs for the s2000's, Lexus's, Evo's, and a few other cars of their likes for some time now. Maybe they are just starting to get into the Scion scene. As I find out more info, I will post. Plus Ro_Ja, if your friend has any other pics, that would greatly help in this decision. From the single pic shown, it does look like a nice, clean, even drop though.

Espelir is a Japanese company with a history in racing. Their products are always top notch. My friend bought them because as you said, they are a nice middle ground between the TRD's and other, lower springs. Even with his low Kaminari body kit, he mentioned he rarely has to worry about scraping. I will ask him if he has more pictures to share.

Here is some information I was able to dig up. This was found on yoursciontc.com (so no one thinks I am taking credit for this)

Name: Espelir ASD
Rate (F): 198
Rate (R): 196

The fronts seem to have a higher rating than stocks, but the rears are lower. How will this affect handling? Would the rear be bouncy and too soft? I hear people talking about htechs being too soft and the rates on these are lower than the htechs.
