Default ETD?

So I have been contemplating installing a ETD but I want to know if it is really worth it and what kind of difference I can expect. From all of the research I have done, it seems as thought the ETD from Ingalls is the best. I have never done one of these and I would assume that it is not that difficult to install but, I know they can be adjusted and I am not quite sure how that has to be done and to what point it needs to be adjusted. Also if there is an ETD installed, does that interfer with an installation of a front strut tie bar? From the pics I have seen it looks as though it is getting bolted from the same place, so I am not sure if the strut tie would go over, under, or if there is no interferance. Just looking for some input!

it won't interfere with installing a front strut... it would go under it.

as far as difference.. there's two major things..

the advantage: lessens wheel hop, limits movement of engine (purpose of the ETD in the first place)

the disadvantage: engine noise will vibrate throughout the chassis.

and people say that there are better parts for doing this job, like motor mounts, but the problem there is that they are harder to install, and it means the increased vibration and noise will always be there, while with an etd, you can put it on when your ready to go to the track, and take it off when you don't want it there anymore.

Or just use a damping and rebound adjustable air damper and have the best of all worlds. Well, except for the "cheap" factor. A decent shock is not cheap.

I installed my Ingall's ETD yesterday!...I do feel a absolute difference in the way the engine is moving....BUT sitting at Idle at a stoplight there is A LOT of vibration felt through seat...Kinda annying But yea I like the feel of it when taking turns and accelerating uphill etc....

Unless I adjusted it the wrong way?...lol
