i understand that part but for strut based air bags usually there are reservoirs or else you will be very bouncy. do you have round cylinders under your hood inline with your bags?

Would you be able to take a pic of the air strut behind the wheel? I would love to also know what brand of strut you used.

Thanks.

as for this dragging.... I have talked to you before.. It drags cause you have bolted a metal block under it. It is cool that it is bagged. But having to bolt stuff under it to make it drag really doesnt mean much. Bagging a tC really wouldnt be to hard. You can find all types of air struts and just have to mess around and see what ones work the best for the install. You have to look at A) how low they go... B) with how low they go, how much lift are you going to get now. Usually getting lower and lower on the struts means less and less lift. Trust me on this on. I just sold my mazda that was Body Dropped on 20's and to get it to lay where I wanted it to the lift was sacrificed. Doing a bag job isnt really hard at all. There will be a kit out for this real soon Im sure. The xB would even be easier as in the back you can make some cups and you are done. The rest of the bag kit is all the same. The valves, pressure switches, switch box all that stays the same. It is just the actual mounts and bags that will change.

[quote="baggedTC"]im going for the minitruck inspired look..quote]

CH'YEAH!

thats what im talkin about- Spark it or Park it! Drag or Die baby!

*ahem* sorry. Anyways, i somewhat agree with the guy saying if you have to bolt stuff under it to drag it doesnt count, because on my noma, it was draggin the ____ outta the rockers on 20's. Also, on a truck its a bit different because you have all sorts of room to make up for lift issues. For example, i had a custom lever 4 link in the back with Slam RS72's on the lower bars and got about 16" of lift and rode like a dream.

Also, i had barnyard control arms up front, and narrowed the frame a bit upfront so i could get the bags closer in, which got me about 12.5" of lift upfront, enough to untuck and turn a 9" wide 20" rim.

But ya, im having serious thoughts about baggin my tC, i was thinkin about takin some measurements and having Cory@Airlift make me up some custom struts, like he did from my buddy's Caddy. They are really awesome guys to deal with, and their new line of bags is AWESOME, cory and the boys put in a TON of research into the composition and crimpin mechanism on those bags....and plus im only about an hour from their warehouse in Lansing, MI....so i would definitely do it through them.

And ya, $2500 isnt bad for full install, i figure you can do it yourself for about $1500 complete tho....im just leary about cuttin out fenderwells to layout.

If anyone else is lookin to bag their stuff, id go through Airlift and Suicidedoors. Honestly, anyone in the know about air parts will vouch that Jason and the crew at SD is THE ____.

OH YA, and im hopin to go to Showfest this year....but if not, ill for sure be at Dropfest, and ITB.....i WILL NOT miss Indy Truck Bash....that show is the ____ing ____.

repost- sorry.

anyways, had a couple questions- Is it a double convoluted bag on the strut or is it a sleeve bag?

what size valves are you running...im thinkin some chrome 3/8"s from airlift would be perfect?

what size/brand bags are you running in back? I wonder if some Slam re6's would fit?

Is there any noticable wear on the front CV joints or any binding while low?

hmmmmm....i know i SHOULDNT, but i REALLY wanna bag my tC now....LOL

I actually think that is photoshopped. I never knew she cleared out her tails and got an exhaust. That tint also looks pretty dark.
I dunno.
More pics!
