Default Front Sway Bar Questions

I have a question on the front sway bar mount. On my K sport coilovers there is a adjustable mount for the sway bar. Is it better to have the mount higher or lower? I am needing to make some adjustments on the front suspension this weekend. So I am wanting to know if it is better to have the mount as high as possible or lower? I have attached a pic of the front coilover so you can see what I am talking about.

what you want to shoot for is to keep the sway bar at the same angle that it is from the factory. that way you will have no clearence issues. hope this helps.

But I know on some of the aftermarket rear bars there is different settings on them. I think I can use this mount as a different setting point. Does that sound correct?

I know what you mean. Having a lower chassis pick-up point is better, but to do that properly, the endlinks should be shorter too. From the picture, it appears you're using the stock endlinks, and I'm not certain what all the implications would be in this scenario. Even if it didn't cause any issues, it also might not provide any performance benefit. If you can find some adjustable end links (or have some fabricated), then I'd say go for it.

ok cool. Looks like I might have to make some now.. LOL. The reason I am asking is my front springs need to be readjusted, They are pinging when I turn right now. I dont have enough tension on them. So I was going to move it around and see if it helped. I see what you are saying though. Gonna have to make the links adjustable.
