i have noticed a difference. car feels more solid up front, for better or worse. it rides rougher over bumps since wheel independance was lost by connecting the two sides. but the car does feel more responsive in hard turns.

as for the install, it wasn't exactly "easy." a piece of the firewall needs to be grinded/cut down to get one of the nuts on the driver side mount on. if you a got dremel that should help.

FYI i'm currently debating taking the bar off. part of the install requires using spacers under the end mounts so that the bar can sit evenly on the strut towers. by using the spacers you lose a 1/2" of thread on the strut bolts and the nut will not go down very far on the bolts. looks pretty sketchy.

here you can see the area i had to cut and bend out of the way. you can also see that the nut doesn't go down very far.

WTF!! Dude that looks dangerous. Id take that off if I were you. I have the DC strut bar, and I have way more thread than that going into the nut. I wouldn't trust that setup if I were you.

I have the DC Bar installed and had no problems putting it on myself at all. It was quick and easy. I havent tried putting on the GReddy bar but I have sold a lot of them and I havent heard about anyone needing to cut anything. They should go on as easy as the DC.

Also that pic looks like it is not tightened, thats probably why there is no thread protruding from the nut. It should be coming out 1/4 - 1/2 inch. At least thats how the DC is. have both bars in stock by the way. We just sold a Greddy this morning.

that guy said his nuts were tightened all the way! He said he put spacers underneath, so thats why they dont screw on as much. I think that it is dangerous as is, dont you?

I dont know man, spacers? why would he need spacers? also the bar should slide in with no cutting of anything. If that bar is too much trouble go with the DC, its less expensive anyway, and uses 2 bars connected together, not just 1.

i ordered mine greddy strut bar and grex shift **** today. using logic is both strut surfaces are uneven to begin with and you add equal size spacers wont that STILL be uneven?
