this is what i got from greddy when i emailed them about the thread loss.

"Thanks for your interest in our products. Sorry for the delay in the response. The tower bar was designed by experienced engineers and we would not release a product that would in any way endager the end user. Generally the rule of thumb for nuts and bolts are that they need to have at least 4-5 turns where the nut and bolt are engaged. These bolts should have at least that amount when installed. Also the force of the suspension is going upwards against the body. The strut mounts are what is suspending the body while the nuts just hold them in place. It may look dangerous, but there really is not danger at all as there is no chance those nuts will come loose if properly torqued. If that still does worry you, applying lock tite to the nuts/bolts will prevent the nuts from loosening for sure. Thanks for choosing GReddy Products."

You can literally drive the car without any nuts on the top, just don't get it air born. It's there to keep things from rattling, add some securuty, and improve the ride quality a little.

I still like seeing the bolt at least pertrude from the nut a little bit. As of right now, I'll still stick with Hotchkis and DC. It'd be great if Cusco came out with a bar, I've loved what they've offered before.

It may sit uneven, but is it even possible to install the bar without the spacers?

hmmm... Would someone be oh-so-kind and do a how to for installing this bad boy? I'm really car illiterate, and I'm scared I might mess something up. Thanks!
