H&R or HKS Hipermax...which is better for lousy streets?
Im in the market for coilover suspension..but i will probably never see the track, i just want the height adjustability ( may be moving several times, some of the places are hell on no wheel gap lowered cars. right now im in NYC....new mexico next....) and a decent semi confortable ride. Just wondering if anyone has ridden cars with both these coilovers and if a comparison in ride could be made. I know with coilovers the ride will be rough and bouncy, i just want the least bouncy and more comfortable on long trips. Any feedback would be useful. Thanks -Howard

go with Tein SSP with EDFC if your looking for comfort. But they are pricy. Also, have u looked into Progress coilovers.
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=167411 from this chart it shows that hks would be more comfortable, but correct me if im wrong but lower spring rates on the rear means understeer.

Don't go for Teins because even with the adjustable shock it will still be harsher than any other coilovers. Progress is the softest coilovers on the market right now in the range of $1000 bucks. If you want to spend that kind of money you can go HKS but that is really expensive.
