H-Tech out, SSP in ...w/pics.
Replaced the Tein H-Techs with Tein Super Sport coilovers w/ Pillowball mounts.
Got em in on the 18th but I was outta town til the 26th, finally got em on at YESCA's place on the 27th.
Who ever said these road harsh was outta their f'ing mind. They ride like a dream. With the damper on the hardest setting its like a go-kart, pretty stiff, as it you would expect but in the softer settings they're no more 'harsh' than my H-Techs with good struts.
Got em set some where in the middle atm with a 1.5 finger gap all around.
Lovin it. ...next up, EDFC.
Thanks to YESCA and his bro for all the help!

Thanks guys!
for sure. The ride is perfect. I was on H-Techs on stock struts and the SSP in the softer settings don't feel any different than adding new struts/shocks to the H-Techs. In the stiffer settings its rough, but its nothing more than what you'd expect.
At first I wasn't sure if it was worth the money spent (and I got em for under 1k) ... after two days, I'd never go back.
I have also determined after these two days that the EDFC would get daily use and also be money well spent (the rears are a _____ to adjust and I'm not interested in cutting the carpet).

I have the SS-Ps and EDFC and love it, esp the 3 programmable preset buttons. I noticed that the newer EDFC is black and has even more control over the damping rate (32 vice 16 on the old).
Also, I didn't realize this at first, but with the EDFC (at least the older version), the lower the number, the stiffer the ride.
Something to note for anyone that has or is going to get anti-sway bars, the Hotchkis front anti-sway bar will rub if you have TEIN coilovers.
Enjoy your new setup.

mine road like a dream when i first had them on but after almost a year of driving on terrible roads (downtown Los Angeles industrial area) the dampers started to get a bit weak and the ride was harsh. livable but still harsh by any standards. i always had them on full stiff so i think if i softened them up a bit, it would be a very good DD set up too.
