Default HELP: Cheapest Hotchkis Stage 1 TVS System

I have searched the forum and found answers, but they were kinda old... like 5 months ago..

I need an updated information on where I can get the cheapest price for the Hotchkis Stage 1 TVS System (hotchkis lowering springs + hotchkis front & rear sway combo)?

Is it still $370 shipped?

Thanks! :D

I got the Progress rear and I love it. Though I have heard those who have the Hotchkis set-up say it is the best mod ever.

I got mine TVS1 from www.mcgeorgeparts.com they had the best price when I was looking, but that was nearly a year ago.

Good set up, you won't be dissapointed.

I actually searched www.mcgeorgeparts.com but can't find that package anymore. I think they only offer the hotchkis sways with the TRD springs.

Is this set-up really worth the money? I was thinking of getting coilovers but I don't want to spend money just for those. With the TVS System, I get lowering springs and a set of sway bars, in which half of the coilover's price.

Does putting a front sway make a difference? I know it makes a difference, but do you feel the difference?

Thanks guys!!!

the only reason i said that about the hotckis is because i read that the front sway bar induces understeer and then the rear counteracts that so its somewhat similiar to stock. i was thinking about the hotckis setup.i know i am going to be getting the springs but im still debating on the sways if i want to get the progressive rear or get the hotckis setup. i know they will be both be great setups

http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com/PD-80425-1.aspx?MakeID=1

theres the mcgeorgeparts hotckis tvs stage 1 for $419

http://www.hotchkistuning.com/cgi-bi...alogno=80425-1

hotckis site has it for $478.95

EDIT: if you have the money for coilovers get them...totally worth the money.

Rear sway should be easy. Springs are moderate depending on experience and I've heard that the front sway is a b!tch.

@rvpps2rocks & phungy

Thanks for the tip.

So do you guys think I'll get the sways and just not install the front sway? Because I can't find a dealer that sells the rear sways only. And I think it's a waste of money buying the front sway and not installing it.

I know coilovers are worth the money. I'm planning to get Progress CS1 coilovers, but it'll take me until January before I get them because I have tons of bills to pay. I'd probably switch to them when my shocks blow out.

I want to lower the car by next week. I just can't wait!!!

I want to say that the front sway is more effective than a front strut but I'm not sure about it overall.

I couldn't find anyone selling just the rear Hotchkis so I went with Progress instead. Heard they are comparable but I got it for a deal. $135 shipped. I couldn't pass that up.

My suspension set-up right now is: S-Techs, OEM shocks, Progress rear sway. I take corners really aggressive and I love the handling.

I'm saving up for the TRD shocks incase the OEM ones blow. I would like coilovers but it's pretty hefty ($).

Well, I don't want to tell you what to do with the front sway. I'm not even sure what I would do. Install or sell? I'd probably end up selling it.

Oh and for handling. Don't go with S-Techs, they are too low. Hotckis/H-Techs are perfect.

If I do go with an '07 next year, I'm going with Hotchkis/H-Tech, whichever I can get for cheaper.

I'm about to be convinced to get the Hotchkis Springs and just get Progress Rear Sways..

Where'd you get it $135 shipped? You can PM me where if you want.

I just need to hear from someone with the Hotchkis Springs and Hotchkis front and rear sway installed. Need their opinion too. But if not, I'd just probably get the springs and rear sway.

Thanks guys!!!

Oh I bought it used from another member. He sold his tC for an IS250.

The cheapest I've seen (Brand New) is $168 shipped.

I believe Yaki01? has that set up. Hotckis TVS Stage 1.

Where can I get the Progress rear sway bar for $168 shipped?

Do you think Hotchkis Springs and Progress Rear Sway Bar is a good combination?

I think that would be a good combination.

I actually deleted all the sites that had Progress rear sways about 2 weeks ago. I'll try to find it.
