I believe Yaki01? has that set up. Hotckis TVS Stage 1.
Where can I get the Progress rear sway bar for $168 shipped?

Do you think Hotchkis Springs and Progress Rear Sway Bar is a good combination?
I think that would be a good combination.

I actually deleted all the sites that had Progress rear sways about 2 weeks ago. I'll try to find it.
I see. Let me know when you find the sites. Thanks!!!

What I've noticed with Hotchkis was it has a really nice wheel gap when you have 18" rims, but when you have the stock 17" rims, there's a little obvious space between the tires and the fender. Now, that I would want to eliminate. Do you think cutting the Hotchkis springs will do the trick? Or will it make things worse?

Your struts will blow eventually because of the lowering springs, but I think it'll be good for like another 10,000 miles. In the meantime, save some money for replacement struts.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think negative camber is very minimal. So don't worry about it.

I thought Hotchkis was 2 inches all around and H-Tech was 1.9" front and 1.7" rear.

Jehoo is right. The life of the struts/shocks will shorten with lowering springs. Even more with the S-Techs. I would suggest swapping both at the same time but if you only have money for the springs then save up for the shocks/struts.

Many with S-Techs do not have a camber kit so no need to worry. A simple alignment will suffice.

Unless the Hotchkis are prone to sagging (which I hope not) then it should just be 2". I'm guessing everyone just has different height/ride preferences.

I like riding low. I'm tired of riding a car that looks like a pick-up truck.

I think I'll go for the Hotchkis springs + Hotchkis Front/Rear Sway Bar system. I've read some posts last night and I asked around and they are very convincing. I'll be ordering them tonight.

Thanks everyone!!!

I had a before and after pic when I installed the S-Techs.

I called the S-Tech drop 'sport mode' and the stock gap 'flood mode'

WOW!!! That's a nice looking wheel gap for a TC with 17" rims. You can barely see the gap. Is that really Hotckis?? I want mine to be like that!!!

I guess I'll be counting the days with my car in 'flood mode'

ACTUALLY, I'm looking into the Hotchkis Stage 1 TVS kit also. $370 shipped, where did you find that price?

I found:
www.suprastore.com - $373 + s/h
www.trdsparks.com - $434.84 shipped (to my zip code anyways)
And McGeorge is out of his mind. Too expensive.

k sorry for talking so long to reply but i didnt want to read everyones comments so if i repeat anythign sorry...Hotckis does not sell the rear sway only it only comes as package..for my setup i was going to do the hotckis springs which is 1.7" drop in the from and 1.97" drop in the rear but it is an even drop because of all the weight in the front of the car. The reason i say just get the rear sway is because the front sway stiffens the front of the car and induces understeer. more understeer so if u just get the progressive rear u should be good to go..just practice driving and getting used to the new handling cuz i know the back end swinging out from underneeth scared the ____ out of me in my friends 240 good thing it was on a trac. I was going to get my sway bar from here
http://www.partshippers.com/index.ph...8d32b4506a45b2
they dont have the springs though...but i hope this helps if u have any other questions ask

haiduy, by front, do you mean Hotchkis front sway?

If Jehoo decides not to use the front he might sell it to you.

I just ordered my Hotckis springs and hotchkis front/rear sway bar from www.trdsparks.com because I've read posts that its just a matter of tuning the sway to your preference. They said installing the front is a pain in the @$$ but I'll let someone install it professionally. :D

Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, took McGeorge out of the list because they quoted me a high price.

I still have to tune and test both of them installed. I've read the rear sway must really work together with the front sway. So I guess I won't be selling mine. Sorry.

Yeah, better get the the total together with shipping before checkout. They might add it up on the freight cost.
