I've read a post that said, the TRD rear sway is tuned to complement the stock front sway. So if you put the Hotchkis front sway with the TRD rear sway, it would probably induce more understeer, wouldn't it? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If it's gonna be too expensive, I might give it a try. But definitely not the front sway. I saw the intruction manual on how to install it, and I think only an experienced mechanic can only do. I just can't risk it and have problems later on.

I got Hotchkis sways coming tomorrow, can't effin wait. Im glad to have read this thread to find out the issues with the front sway, i'm putting the rear on first and then the front later so i'll see how it compares. My buddy "GALYION" has a bro that can help me put the front one on, with an actual lift so we can stand under the car.

And on a slightly different part, i got the dc Sports front strut tie, and OMG Talk about a difference. I have never once tried a suspension upgrade until now, and all i can say is that on future cars, suspension will be my number 1 priority. DC Sports ftW. Definately my best upgrade to date, hope the sways are just as satisfying.

If I decide to get an '07 or '08 tC, suspension will be my first priority.

I am sure you will love them!!! My package is arriving this Friday and really can't wait to install them. I'm putting the springs first, then the rear sway, then the front sway. Good luck on the install!

^ sounds like a FANTASTIC deal if everything is included and installed!! Thats like 150 bucks for install of springs and sways, WOW, or is that the price for installation on top of the price for the parts, then i would say average

LoL!!! Welcome to the Hotchkis club!

I think you better post your smoked out tails in the aero & exterior section. You're gonna get more replies there about that. Good luck!:D

besides an alignment... can you live without installing a camber kit??? and i have read the back and forth coments about sway setting... i would rather have understeer if anything so would it probably be best to set the front less stiff than the back.... i wanna keep my car on the road as much as possible, im not trying to be a drifter thanks ya'll
