Help with sleeper suspension!!
Hey, I'm pretty new to modding. I have a 2006 blue blitz mica tc and I want it to be a sleeper, but I'm not sure exactly what to do for my suspensions. I just installed my first mod - short shifter. I love it! I want to work on my suspension next. What should I get? A strut bar? Springs? Coilovers? I don't want to lower it much though. Any suggestions?

First thing is first, you should get rid of those grilles and.....give them to me?
Naw jk. If you want a "sleeper" look, get some sways, get a strut bar (front and rear), springs aren't really necessary, get some stickier tires. A sleeper is basically determined by looking as close to stock as possible. The moment you lower it, oops, does not look sleeper..ish

cool. thx =) I can't afford everything right now, but Im gunna start off with the dc strut bar =) thx u guys. (I'll go with the TRD suspension set later) I like the 1.25 drop. not too much, but low enough to hide that unsightly gap.

dont even bother with strut bars, they arent going to do anything performance wise on the tC.
if you really want to see a drastic change in your handling, go with better tires, maybe falken fk452's, or rt-651's.
as far as sleeper suspension is concerned, anything that looks stock(As far as height) will do the job.
a good, IMHO suspension set up would be:
-Tein SS+P Coilovers
-Hotckis Sway Bars
-Sticky Tires
-Better Brake Pads

I too would reccommend the full trd strut spring combo. I love mine! The drop is real world.....in other words you can still drive normal.
Oh, by the way AHEM......where is your handicap placard ms. Parking in a handicapped spot?

If you go full TRD get the struts and springs at the same time. The bonus here is that you can turn around and sell your stock stuff for a small profit to recoup the cost.
Oh and visit trdsparks.com for the parts. There prices are the best.

you dont have to do it all at once, but its beneficial to do it at once since the car will be apart anyways.
however, if you plan on keeping your stock rims, or at least staying the same size, get better tires, like 225/45 falken rt-615's, the stock tires are CRAP, and you will immediately feel the difference.
after tires i would go with sway bars, those will also make a more noticeable difference.
after that its up to you, but im assuming from what i read that you like the TRD spring/strut combo. that is perfect for what you want, not to much of a drop, however it will change the look of the car and should help a little bit in cornering and such.
and as far as actual strut bars go, i wouldnt waste my money on them, they wont do anything but look good, so its money spent elsewhere.
also, about the camber bolts/kit, your dont need it if your going with the TRD springs,
they do not drop it low enough to where you have to worry about camber or toe.
also it seems that you are confused about the strut/springs, you can install both at a seperate time, however it is much easier to do(if your doing it by yourself) because its swap out swap in when everything is already on.
and if this matters at all, here is what suspension set up im going with:
17x8 Enkei RPF1 Wheels, Falken FK452 245/40 Tires, Tein SS+P Coilovers, Hotchkis Sway Bars, Stoptech Slotted Rotors, TRD Brake Pads.
and im getting a ingalls 4 point rear brace, but thats just because ive heard it gets rid of the sunroof rattles.
