i would think it'd be slightly difficult to look completely stock on the outside (finishing the sleeper look) by changing suspension.
though suspension work is essential in the car's handling... without dropping to far, coilovers, the h-techs, or the trd springs would work.
it's a small drop, but handling does make an improvement.

www.trdsparks.com
that site will probably have the cheapest prices for any TRD parts.
for the hotckis parts, try www.showstoppersusa.com

thats a perfect package.. i would go with that if i wanted the TRD springs.
also, nobody has asked this yet, but why do you want a sleeper suspension? your doesnt necessarily blend into the crowd haha.

haha well, for now at least. i don't wanna get pulled over in this tiny college town. Cops are bored here. I wanna make it a sleeper till i get outta here. I also wanna make sure I get all the performance stuff done before I work on the exterior so i'm not all show no go.

absolutely ridiculous. TRD shocks are a complete waste of money if unless you take your car to the circuit/auto-x.
assuming you want a sleeper look... meaning subtle or no aesthetic changes with and have functional use, get hotchkis sways and trd springs. they are cheap as hell and still serve a purpose.
strut bar lacks real function as it is only something cool to look at. i have it and has no performance value.
no TRD isnt low, hotckis is pretty low, so stick with TRD
i hit a dip in the road in san diego on STOCK SUSPENSION and smashed my tow hooks and now i have deep gashes on my front bumper.

I am curious. Have you driven a tC with a full TRD suspension? I and several others own this setup and I as I am sure all of them would strongly disagree with this statement. The TRD struts make a huge difference in handeling in day to day driving.....one of which situations just happened the other night involving a merging semi. Sharp reponse while giving a solid sturdy ride. IMO I think it is an awesome addition to the TRD springs as well.

i was this low(which isnt low at all) and never had any real problems except for my lip scraping when i wasnt careful. however as long as you are careful, nothing should really happen.. however when your coming home from work and are really tired, you dont exactly want to be going in and out of driveways sideways.
also, cops in cali dont really care how low your your car is, as long as its a tC which doesnt really get low. just keep it quiet and you will be okay.

it's his former car actually... long story... i'll let him explain
but that's the ABS Dynamics front lip that he has on the car
and no they're not TRD rims... can't remember what they were right now..
but uhm... as far as paint.. matching shouldn't be hard.

since my car's a limited edition color, how well do you think they can match the paint if i gotta lipkit?

like trung said, its the abs kit. the rims were ADR Fuel 5.
also, check out the blue blitz mica thread, some guy just got a abs dynamics lip kit and they matched it really nice, and it looks really good.
also, if your located in socal/la county i know a place that paints lips for reallly cheap, and they do a really good job
