Default hotchkis bump stops on H&R sport springs? yes or no?

so i am installing my H&R lowering springs on the 14th ( got time to do it now since school will be over) and i was wondering should i use the hotchkis bump stops or the oem ones?

Do i even need to cut the oem ones on that mild of a drop? (1.4 in the back and 1.3 in the front)

or should i order the hotchkis ones iv emailed them and they said they would sell me a pair?

this is my first time installing springs with oem struts. so i need help on this

THANKS
_Dan

though i have a xb, the sheet that came with the H&R springs indicated that you would have to cut the oem bump stops for the TC

i just recently put the trd springs on my stock struts and i cut the bump stop a little bit but not much i dont think you will need to get them because i think the trd ones are lower so i think your fine if you just cut them

yes it does indicate that you should cut the oem ones but ppl that put the trd springs on say you dont really need to. so if you dont really need to cut them i wouldnt want to. but if you have to cut them id rather just use the hotckis ones unless those are to short.

huslindan, i have the H&R sport springs installed. the chart says you dont have to cut the bumpstops, only for the H&R race springs. it specifies for the tc to only cut for the race springs part number.

the offset is 42. handling is about the same, if not a bit better than TRD springs. i also installed TRD swaybar so handling has improved greatly.
