LOL, My Car has the same problem in the rear. I Put the TEIN STECH springs. Everything was fine till 2 months passed then every lil bump was a sqeaking horrible sound.
Have you used WD-40 on them????

it might be a pain in the butt because you might need to remove the spring off the strut.

I wouldn't recommend just taking WD-40 and spraying random parts
Really?..why not use WD-40??....Just Curious

So do you think it is the springs after doing the (always temporary) wd40 fix? How about slapping some heavy duty grease on the contact points?

If it is the springs (what springs are they anyways?), you could try these Tein silencer rubbers link . I think you can use them on any springs, but verify with them first.

this is an old thread i know but i dont want to be harrassed by people saying i didnt search. so ive been noticing a creaking noise with my springs (s.techs) while going over bumps slowly. so today i jacked up the car and saw alot of green on the silencers. well i decided to grease up this contact point and the sound went away. so my question is has anybody taken the silencers off so see if its actually the silencers that are making more noise than reducing it? otherwise im just gunna get a tub of heavy duty grease and hit it up once a month or whenever the sound returns. i can live with it, its just annoying at times.

A tire rub will not make a squeaking sound. The most common problem of a "squeak" from the suspension is a blow out strut.

the strut isnt blown. It hasn't been lubed or anything, I will try that.

It makes a squeak as going up my drive way or such and my tire has a bit of rub from my fenders. The struts top part (under the hood) isnt pushed up. It never makes a knocking/rattling sound. And I have a buddy with a rear blown strut so I know what the symptoms are

why not try some dry type silicone spray (different than the wet type)??
dry is safe for rubber, to penetrate and seal.
