Default How low on stock shocks?

I'm new to the whole scion thing, I just picked up an 08 tC. Just curious how low I can go on stock shocks? I don't wanna slam it, just around 1.5-1.75". Wondering if the stockers can handle that.
Thanx.

My hotchkis lasted 1 week on stock shocks, but I got in a wreck and popped em!

My TRDs lasted over a year on stock shocks. I think 1.5 your good. Anything lower, start saving for shocks withing 6 months.

IMO hotchkis is the lowest you can go on stock struts without worrying too much about them goin out

i've had hotckis on stock struts for around 18,000 miles so far. feels like they aren't ognna last to much longer though, i'm gonna be installing the TRD struts next month unless the stocks blow out before then

just get trd's or s techs and call it a day. you cant complain for a $150-$250 that makes your car look amazing. =P

by the time it blows, you'll have enough money for some coils.

I don't see how you can put TRDs and S.Techs in the same sentance. They are worlds apart, and with the TRDS, you shocks will last as long as on stock springs.

alright...if you guys haven't realized, the life of your shocks isn't measured in years. it is measured in miles. how many miles approximately.

you could put s techs on your tc and the shocks would last for years if you don't drive it.

that makes sense, in that case 3years/60000 miles on stock shocks
