Default Htech install Thumping help.

I just dropped my car on Htechs today. I installed them I cut the bump-stops on the front not the rear. I got everything tight(i believe)

When i drove alone:
When im driving if i hit a bump with either the left or right front(if theres any flex or twist) it will make a thumping sound. but if i hit a speed bump with both wheels then no thump.

If i drive with friends:
I brought my G/F and my friend along and. If i hit a bump left wheel right wheel or both it would thump.

I know for a fact the shocks are tight regardless, unless the sway bar or something is lose.

Help please.

i just had to install new struts and when i did i forgot one of the many rubber gasket things and mine was making a thumping noise over bumps to until i figured out i was missing one of the rubber gaskets and once i put it in it was fine.
you should have the bump stop then the rubber gasket with the nipple then the rubber donut gasket then the metal washer then the bolt

i dont know if this helps, but recheck everything, top 3 bolts, and the middle bolt up top. that where you shoudl start. i know when i first installed my htech i would get this real back thumping should from the driver side of the car. and mine ended up being to the 2 big bolts on the bottom of the strut didnt stay tight and worked themselves loose. so might want to check those out to. that what i would start with. if all is good. might be a blown strut possibly.

to be honest it could be alot of things since you just put the springs on. i would if i was you take your front wheels off on both sides not at the same time of course but check every single bolt you had to undo and retighten everything. thats what i had to do to find my problem and turned out to be just to the big bolts where the strut attached to car on the bottom.

yea thats what i was saying somthing might have worked loose after you hit that bump, cause mine for like a day didnt have a clunk to it, but it started after i hit a speedbump it started the next day. every bump i hit sounded like metal hitting metal. so i dont know just check everything. if its all tight, might be a blown strut, or shock.

I dont think it is blown, it rides the same or a lil better with htechs. My old car was on skunk2 and tokiko blues, That was rough.

It was the end links its what i though. I used a spring compressor when lowering it. Turned out they were tight with the allen wrench and 17mm box wrench, then tighten it with a ratchet. Problem solved, thank God
