Default Just ordered TRD springs

I just ordered the TRD springs from TRD sparks. This is goin to be my first mod outside of Leds and pedels ect. Cant wait till they get here im goin to install them as soon as they arrive. Hopefully i am goint o order a few more parts soon but im tryin to decide whether to get Intake, Exhaust, or lightweight crank pulley. I have friends who work at shops so the install shouldnt be bad and its savin me alot of money that id have to pay the dealership. Ill post pics as soon as I have them intalled.

If you want something functional, go with the pulley. The others are cosmetic.

Why struts, I mean i know i will have to replace them eventually? but if i was goin to get both dont you think i should have just gotten coilovers?

i agree get the struts/shocks done at the same time.. they only charge you for one install and they also improve the handling of the car as well

i have trd struts/shocks and springs and my car handles better then any of my friends who have just springs

you get the trd struts because you'll blow out your stock struts with the trd springs as soon as you hit a big enough bump. you're getting a spring that's substantially shorter and mating it to a strut that only compresses so far. . .

^^Eh? That would have to be one BIG bump. There are peeps on here that have 20K+ miles on a TRD Spring/stock strut combo.

Not trying to argue, just pointing out some useful info is all.

^^They are in SC. Since you're so close, I think you would have it in less than 5 business days.

i honestly don't think the trd springs will cause much problems with the stock struts/shocks... but the car does handle a lot better with the trd struts/shocks

To install with a lift and tools including a spring compressor it will take about 4 hours.......It is not hard if you have the tools to do it properly......just a pain in the butt to get at the back bolts and get it out......not hard, just a pain......
