If you have never done it before it can take a few hours. Unless you like to work in the dark after work I'd wait until the weekend.

I have the front 2 springs installed I need more shop time to do the back, my friend had to get home and he is the person who had to lock up the shop. They took longer then i thought because when i took my car in for servivce on my struts one time the dealer i just found out made it almost impossible to get the strut apart. The left front went by fast but the right front a diff story. It took me forever. so i am goin to finish it up on saturday. The car looks good though even with the front just lowerd.

Also..

Thanks TRD Sparks for the fast shipping. That is probably the fastest ive ever recieved a shipment. I will definitly buy from you guys again. possible very soon.

trds should last you a while (unless you swap them out) i had hotchkis springs which was lower then those on stock struts for about 40k miles and then the struts finally blew out on me. now im on H&R coilvers and couldnt be happier
and as far as pulleys go YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF to check out non stop tuning, check link in my sig, htey make an underdriven one that will free up a little more hp and a stock sized pulley so you wont have to swap belts, they also offer an alt pully and water pump pulley.

Looks like I'm going to put in a order for them soon. I wish my lowering springs were white so I can get blue set...but that's okay. Red & Red is quite nice since TRD's colors are red and white.

I will say this...my tech is going to LOVE me when I have him install the springs, struts, and sway bar while doing maintence service. Bullitt is such quite of spoiled brat! But hate me for not buying 1,500 tires from the dealer

When i installed the springs i didnt cut anything off, you do not need to. I just followed a DIY that i found by serching google for trd spring installation. You will need another person to help you install these springs. It should only take you a few hours, just make sure you have all the tools when you start. You need a breaker bar and a spring compresser along with all the rachets, sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, allen wrenches, Floorjack, and jackstands (or a lift). For all of the sockets and wrenches make sure you have metric, every size is in mm.

XPRESSCION goodluck with the wisconson winter, I dont really have a problem with harshwinters here in NC.

Im located in Charlotte, I dont know of shops up in raleigh that you can get the alarm just because im not farmiliar with that area. Im sure there is a place up there that can do it. There are a few places around me who I would recommend, but I wouldnt think you would want to drive 2 1/2 hours to get an alarm installed.

Some peeps here in Midwest and East Coast; state they don't have problems. I'm hoping the same Like I was saying on different topic message. I used to own a Ford Probe...that car was lot lower than the tC. Since the drop should only be 1.2-1.5 including Ground Effects kit; I think it will be about the same height. My only major problem will be backing out of the driveway after snow fall. There's slope that dips...I got stuck last year.
