K Sport Coilover Owners PLEASE READ
#41
i believe ive posted about a similiar situation in another section.
was that picture of the coilover in the rear yours? if so you have them set up wrong.
first jack up your car. take all of the preload off your spring. basically loosen your spring perch until you can rotate your spring around by hand. then add maybe 1 full turn.
then below the spring perch there is 2 other rings. lock 1 of those rings to the "SPRING PERCH". once you get those 2 rings locked together move the lowest locking ring all the way up and use your adjusting tool to spin the spring perch clockwise. make sure the whole shock body is moving, threads and all. this will lower the shock into the housing. get it to the appropriate height you probably want to crank it all the way down until you have no threads. that should get it fairly low. feel free to pm me if you have any questions. its easier to explain on the phone.

also for the other guy who said his rear is just a tad too high for him you can remove the rear suspension and basically unscrew the bottom of the shock mount. then take off the bottom locking ring and rethread the bottom part of the mount and that will give you another 1/4 inch.
or go with b&g's and get this. by the way, i can go lower in the front and back

Well i had a problem with my K-sport the thread below the lower mount rubbed my Joint boots and ripped. I love the drop that i had but now i have to raise it up a little more in order for it not to rubbed. Does anyone have pictures of the actual coilover install in the car and how is set up to be low?
