Anyone able to verify that? Or maybe a few pics or the strut assembly apart showing the order??

Default TRD springs or TEIN S-Tech's

if anyone has pics of their tC dropped on the TRD springs or on TEIN S-Techs (either the 1.6" or the 2.4") please post pics of the after, i'm trying to decide between the two, i'm leaning towards TEIN, thanks

Yes, umm this is a technical support thread, please don't derail it. I'm really needing some feedback on this question.

its possible that the strut hat isnt lined up right with the strut rod.

its not possible to install the front springs on the rear and vice versa.

goldlines are a 2" drop, not 2.4".

I reassembled it again, it appears to have fixed it self, 100 miles in, no problems. Super!

My car has a clunk in the right front with the TRD springs ONLY when its COLD outside. I'm talking about 15-20 degrees or cloder. It also lessens or goes away when the car gets warmer, after like 25+ minutes or so of driving. It will be going back to the dealer because I ain't touching it becuase its under warrenty and they can screw with it. I will get y moneys worth out of the rental. It pretty much has to be a loose strut because it goes away after the struts have had a chance to warm up from the driving.

I also hate the tracking of my car after the drop and the alignment I had done. A little cross wind and I am all over the place and can't relaxe like most can in a new car.
