Default lowering springs???

I would like to replace the stock springs on my tc with TRD lowering springs. Is it really necessary to replace the shocks as well? Any thoughts anyone? Thankx!

A better way to have replied would have been, "you can find a lot of information by doing a search first before just posting a message. But to answer your question, if you just want to go for looks and styling, you can just buy the springs, and if you want to go for performance you'll eventually need to replace the shocks because they won't hold up for too long with the new springs.

Hope this helps!

stock struts will lsat between 20000-30000 miles before you need to change them.
