Default lowering the TC

I need to know what else I should be getting done to my Tc when i get the TRD springs. I did not know if it were neccessary to do anything else once the springs were on the car. I was just going to get the springs put on and then get an alignment.
If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do feel free to let me know.

Get some sways perhaps? It should help much with the handling!

lottsa choices....trd springs without trd shocks will minimize the stock shock life. get shocks as well.

click the link and scoll down to tc trd suspension combo #1. a good buy imo.

If your car has low miles and you're installing TRD springs, you should be able to stick with the stock shocks for a while. Get the springs installed, get an alignment after the springs settle. If you want improved performance, do like the others have already said and get yourselves some beefy sway bars.

Anybody have an idea about how long the stock shocks will last on TRD's?

There are some great threads on this subject www.yoursciontc.com The two things that seem to do the most for the handling and ride are the springs and rear sway bar. TRD Springs and the TRD Rear Sway are a good combination and it doesn't drop the car too much. If you can afford the shocks/struts now, I'd do those with the springs because of the cheaper combined labor. Just a thought. We have some combos on our site and here's the link to the suspension section.
