Somethin's loose? I dunno. Take it somewhere and have it diagnosed. It can't cost much just to have someone look at it. Any performance place worth their salt should look at it for a small fee. Lemme know what you find, either way, especially if it's before Friday. That way me and my friend know to look for that particular problem during the installation and can find a way to avoid it.

you only need them for the rear ones i think.. because our coilovers are a new design. I'm not sure how to adjust them though nor am i sure about the cambers.. Just from what i've been told.

Well i ordered the megans AS WELL as the teins with the EDFC. I have been waiting for 9 weeks for the teins to come in. I bought both cause i couldnt decide. well the teins came in today and withing 90 mins i had them installed!

Let me just say that i will not even try the megans. The teins are so streetable its not funny. plus the EDFC is just icing on the cake. It rides smooth and feels very nice. I was VERY impressed. I expected to be putting on the megans over the teins.

GL with the megans, they do look like a killer coilover though!!

aslo i have tein SS-Ps with the EDFC not basics

Yeah I was going to just get the Basics.. But they too are on perpetual backorder just about everywhere I looked. Wish I had the cash for the SSPs and EDFC... But there was too much other stuff I wanted to do..

Ok, we got them on. 1.5 hours for the front ones, 4 for the back ones and the Greddy rear strut bar (we had to figure out what order to put the seat parts, plastic, lining, and such back together and it took 3 tries.. heres a hint: its not the same way you took it all out..). Anyway. It's 11:25, I'm tired, and I didn't have my Fuji camera with me so you'll have to settle for the pics from my Razr. I'll take REAL pictures tomorrow after we play with the stiffness. Right now, its all the way stiff and the ride is like a pogo stick without a spring. But it handles like a dream. ZERO body roll, no matter how hard I weave.

The rear is cranked all the way down. The front can drop another 1/2" to 1".

how do you measure different drops? is there a meter that is on the coilovers that lets you even them out? or do you have to measure with an old fashion ruler? sorry for the noob questions i've never had coilovers before.

You either eyeball it (don't recommend) or you use something to measure the spacing between the rings on the coilovers that you rotate to set the height. That's what we did on the front. Sorry for the rudamentary explanation. I didn't know myself until today.

ive always counted the lil threads before i put on the rims. but after a short drive i always measure it from the center of the fender to the center of the wheel.

i dont even know if theres a correct way to do it.

Yeah it'll settle, but no more than a 1/4". I'm probably going to raise her a little today and soften the response up. Like I said, the handling is for-the-track stiff, but it HURTS. I feel like a goober driving around bouncing like I cut the springs.

its cos the stiffness settings are jacked all the way to the max. Ow my kidneys... I'm leaving right now to go wash her and play with the stiffness and height. I might have to raise the car up a bit to give it more room to for spring travel, but I dunno. I'll take pictures when I've finalized where I want the settings.

Well, I got her adjusted and I took some pics. The pics are at the same place as before. I just added the new ones to the end of the page.

http://manekinekomotorsports.com/com...rs/megans.html

The back end is down all the way it can go, and the front end can only come down another 1/4". They're on the softest setting, and its still a really rough/bumpy ride. On the other hand, the body roll is completely gone, handling is amazing, and I get a lot of people on the highway using their rearview mirrors to gawk as they drive by. Long story short, these are not your mother's coilovers and definitely not for the feint of heart.
