modified ball joints and tie rod ends ?
hey there does anyone know were i can have a set of modified ball joints ? spherical joints ive heard of people doing but does anyone know of a company that will custom make u a set since im sure not many people are wanting to do this mod because of the harshness of the ride but my car is not a daily driver anymore so just curious as to any alternatives for ball joints and tie rod ends.

not everyone dd their tc. some have them set up for what ever racing they are doing. i have seen more than enough tc owners modify the ball joints and tie rod ends but i never asked because i was daily driving mine at the time and didnt want to swap over. i guess for a more

Unless you want to drop the car more than 1.5" or so, your stock parts are fine. If you want to drop it more and have a car that handles well, then you need to look at extended ball joints, rod ends, etc. and then bump steer correction.
--------
Any lower than 1.5" with stock bits, like so many are doing, means you either just do not care about handling, only looks, or you are not aware (sometimes that means clueless;)
So, if you want it lower and are willing to spend the time and money to have proper geometry, cool!!!!!! I am working on some ideas, just have not decided which way to go yet.

Suspension is not to tough on these cars, a decent set of coilovers, rear sway or both depending how you want the car to handle. Not to low a drop so the geometry can work, bushings if a bit more harshness is ok, alignment, GOOD TIRES and as wide as you can fit. Then good to go
My car is working quite well on custom valved Progress coilovers, race version rear sway, no front sway, good sway end links, Hotchkiss rear camber links, some extra postive castor up front, -3.2 front, -2.2 rear camber, zero toe on both ends(sometimes I want a bit of toe out, depends on the course.)
I started with milder springs because the car was going to be track and street driven and they rode almost to nice on the street so now I run 600/900 front/rear rates. I am going to shorter 700's up front for next season once I decide which way to correct the geometry and drop it more.
On the rear I get to just cut the top off the subframe bushings to lower it an inch without effecting geometry
--------
Though not adjustable(for many that is a good thing) the Progress coilovers may be the best bang for the buck you can track with.
I would love to have some Motons, etc, but the ones on my Vette cost $6.5k and that is their lower end stuff!!!
I know somebody is working with JRZ on TC fitment but huge bucks there as well.
----------------
I can say this about my setup, dang fast, faster on some corners than I am comfortable with yet locked down to the road like superglue. The limits are so high I am a bit afraid to find them! (It helps on those high speed corners when running a real wing, splitter, canards, oh my!!!
