Default Monster Motorworks TC Rear Strutbar ! More Pics...

this part is in the final stages of completion.
We are welding the legs for the strutbars up and will be finishing them up this weekend.

You cannot use the OEM Grey Foam Retainers for the Jack and tools in the rear hatch compartment.

Anyone who is intrested in these bars PM me.

Technically you can still use them, but they will need to be trimmed to clear the bar.

Just wanted to testify on how great this bar is. I have one in my car and the rear is definatly more stiffer, While cornering the rear seems to want to come out more and you can definatly tell that the rear strut bar is reducing the chassis flex. I already have a TRD rear sway bar and the Monster Motor Works rear strut bar is definatly a must have.

Wouldnt this bar move left to right or have the bolt slip on the bar? There is no way to keep the bar from moving left to right b/c there is no lateral reinforcement in the bolt holes....especially during agressive cornering.....

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like the bar could movefrom side to side. I might have to come up with a cool design on this. I already have a good idea for a new one now.

The bar will not move from side to side when bolted down.

There are slight variances in each vehicle, considering the configuration of the strut towers. So we decided to go with a 5mm slot on each side of our hole to ensure a good fit.

As far as the bolt thread, thats the trade off for a thick and structurally sound bar. As you can tell we went with a very thick bar. This bar can handle upwards of 3 ton before it bends or starts to deform.

Our brackets are all gusseted for strength and are all Tig Welded by hand.

Each one of these bars are hand made.

If anyone has questions please let me know.

i just dropped by their shop and picked up my bar. the holes for the brackets are bigger so the bar is adjustable for a perfect fit. the bar is really thick and it is tig welded. it is also surprisingly light for how thick the bar is.

as for my current setup i have the trd shocks, trd springs, and trd rear sway bar. i thought the rear used to come out good with just the trd bar but now coupled with the monstermotorworks bar the rear tends to come out easier when the car is pushed. it is a great addition to the suspension at a very good price.

i love my rear strut bar!

No offense meant to anybody but if you want a rear strut bar realize it is going to be at least 95% cosmetic and hidden at that. We are doing every handling mod possible that had a real purpose and not getting a rear bar because of that.
