Default My Scion tC is squeeking over bumps..

I drove my car today and it was squeeking over speed bumps. This is the first time it has happend. Any Idea what this could be? I have the TRD lowering springs on the stock struts, is it possible that this is hurting the stock struts? Any advice woluld be appreciated

It is probably the stupid door over the cd player. That thing has been squeaking on me for years. Also the passenger side of the dash seems to make some noise.

That, if it just squeaks over speed bumps that is not really a huge problem, pretty much every car I have ever ridden in had squeaked over speed bumps

I brought it to the dealership, they lubed my struts, said it was nothing. I came home and the squeaking is now worse, and happens just when I turn the wheel.

My car has been sqeaking over bumps and turns. It turned out to be my drivers seat. At first i thought it was my suspension too.

hhahhaa funny that you say that, Because I was just driving somewhere, And I stopped, ruffled in my seat, and heard the squeek... so i bounce in my seat with car stopped, and I hear the sqeak. Turns out is was my drivers seat as well... Wow it really did sound like it was the suspension.

There's a TBS for that. If you're still under warranty take it to the dealership to get it fixed for free. The TSB number is S-SB-0043-08. I can't find it online, but if you want to see the entire file PM your email address.

Thanks for posting the notification from Scion.^^^^^

My seat has also been squeaking, it sounds like my squeak is coming from the seatbelt buckle.

Man, I noticed the same thing a while ago. While driving I spent weeks trying to find the source til one day I noticed it was gone when I didn't have the belt on. I was able to recreate the squeak by grabbing and rocking the buckle while it was fastened.

The funy part is the noise got me so mad one day that I just grabbed and kept shaking the $hit and out it, and since then no more squeak
