Default My tC Makes A weird Noise While Driving/Rolling NEED HELP!

So ive been noticing for awhile now my car makes a weird noise from the back of the car when it rolls kinda like a humming or flat tire or bald spot on the tire type of sound,
its fine when u go slow but as soo as u hit around 40 to 60 it sounds real bad an annoying hum in a way and its coming from the back and when the car slows down u hear it even more jus as annoying

does any body know wat this can be? any input would be great, ive been noticing it for awhile now and i cant figure out wat it is...thanx everybody in advanced

PLEASE NEED HELPPP

have you checked your tires? if not i would do that first. if the tires seem fine i would take it to a shop if you cant pin point the sound.

yeah i checked my tires everything no signs of bald spots nothing, the noise is pretty annoying especially when the radio is down..

I have the same problem.. they told me it was my aftermarket(not oem) tires.. it really started after i got my first set of new tires.

some tires make more road noise then others thats normal.

to the op i would take it to the dealer or another shop to see if they can find it out

Brakes Are New Pads Rotors Everything i thought it was that when i changed them when i had the stock ones but no the noise is still there.

yea i thought it was the tires too but everything seemed fine

could be bearings or something, thats why i said to take it to a shop.

yeah im gonna have to hopefully soon i jus wanted to see if any1 in particukar had this noise to and to see wat they have done about it

I had an odd rotational noise while driving a few months back. I noticed it particularly around 40mph as this was when I could best the tires over the road noise. Checked out by local garage, balanced tires, checked rotors, zero problems found.

I replaced all 4 tires a month later.
No more noise.

If you know of someone else with tC you might want to see if you can't swap tires and test drive before dropping down for 4 new.

^hmm i thought it was that too i changed my 2 front tires and nothing noise is still there but sounds like its coming from the back maybe it could be the 2 back tires? maybe i need to get my car balanced and aligned too

My guess would be uneven tire wear. Don't change the tire, just swap them and see if the noise moves with the tire swap.
