need help deciding whats best for my DD
Okay im looking at either getting hotchkis stage 1 kit or tein h-tech with hotchkis front and rear sway bars. Which one would be ideal for a DD who doesnt race. I'm looking for a nice stance since my car will be all looks and at most I/H/E for performance. BTW once august run around i will be driving around 50 miles per day to go to school. So help me decide which set up would fit my driving style.

i dont mind either...both are fine i just need something reliable. I'm leaning toward the hotchkis just cause of the deal i get from mcgeorge not to mention i dont know how tein h-tech with hotchkis sways will work

Sways are for handling (and a great handling mod). They will remove independence fromthe suspension, so the stiffer you go, the more rough it will ride over uneven bumps. So if you just want a little better handling, but keeping more of the ride, then go with the TRD rear bar. I autox with mine and it does a very good job of making the car rotate (although I have my alignment set up to go that direction as well). IF you arent going for a huge jump in handling, I wouldnt bother with a stiffer, front and rear set and the extra work of installing the front bar (you lower the subframe for the front bar). I will be switching to hotchkis, but I have autox'd the car enough that I am outgrowing the setup I have now.
For springs, there are a couple of things to think about. If you want the best handling, dont go more than about 1.4 inches of drop from stock, as lower than that make the suspension geometry worse, not better.
Also, if someone tells you that a certain set of lowering springs rides smoother than stock, they are either imagining it, or the springs are utter crap. A lower spring has to have a higher spring rate in order to make the car handle right and keep it from hitting the bump stops all the time. This is the very reason that cutting stock springs is such a bad idea. So as you lower the car, the ride has to be rougher than stock.

It would be better than the stechs if you really need togo that low. My suggestion is TRD, which is probably the best balance of performance and daily driver friendliness out there. Settles to about 1.25 inches of drop, looks nice, doesnt ride too harsh, and is a lot closer to the optimal ride height. But if you really want to drop the car more, the the htechs are probably not a bad choice.
And either the trd or progress rear bar is probably a good choice .

its getting hard to decide now lol too many set ups.
Springs - H-tech vs Hotchkis
Sway bars - Progress/TRD rear sway bar vs Hotchkis F/R Sway Bars.
I'm definitely not choosing anything else beside what i listed so anyone wanna vote for which one would be ideal for me?

Honestly, like engifineer is saying... sort of... don't bother with the Hotchkis set. You don't need it and it will only make your ride more harsh - especially if you're not racing in any way.
If it's between what you have above, I'd say Htechs and Progress sway (so you get new endlinks).

^ Hotchkis sway bars are only sold as a set (front & rear) unfortunately.
Check the classifieds section of the site maybe someone is selling one.
Here is link for the Progress Rear Sway bar - http://www.showstoppersusa.com/produ...roducts_id=699 ($190 including shipping)

Actually, its not unfortunate that hotchkis sways only come in sets. It is unsafe to run the rear only. As stiff as it is, with the stock front sway bar you are asking for snap oversteer a the blink of an eye.
The new endlinks are a neat feature of the progress bar.. but you dont need new links with that bar. Seeing as how it is only 20 bucks more though, may as well replace them and have new ones I guess
