new springs, now a knock...?
so i had htechs and wanted to raise my car up a little bit bc ive been scraping the crap out our newly purchased homes driveway and put on some vogtland springs.
drove it around yesterday, pretty spirited for about an hour, 30 minute drive back home on the interstate w/ no problems. come through my neighborhood i take a left turn and out of no where here a knock in the right rear... wtf? so i turn the steering wheel right slolam style and nothing, back left... and it knocks again. i noticed also everytime i hit a bump id hear the knock. so i immediately checked the top 3 nuts in the back and the strut rod retaining bolt and they are all tight. looked up the back the best i could and the end link appears to be fine and the spring appears to be seated fine.
any ideas of what this could be? could i have the spring perhaps twisted a little? im going to pull the tire off tomorrow to put my adjustable endlinks on anyways so ill take a look. by all means i really dont want to have to pull the strut assembly off. what a PITA.

Usually something is loose (top nuts like you checked, endlink is common, etc) or the spring isn't seated properly.
I would honestly just doublecheck every nut and bolt. They may look tight but it really doesn't take much to make a knock when there's that much pressure on them. And if it is mostly when you turn that tells me it is more than likely an endlink thing (from my experience anyway).
