my favorite tires are the michelin pilot sport ps2. they are the best street rated tires available. i have personally driven a car with them and i love them. but it all depends what you are looking for. like if you want good tread wear or wet driving. these tires are good at dry and even wet. cons: expensive and they dont last, but no street rated tires will keep up

I agree that the stocks are shiett! but unless you have a butt load of HP you dont need the #1 ranked tires. BF goodrich makes good ZR rated tires at a great price. Check them out. Grip works well in dry/wet also.

I'm running Kumho Ecsta ASX's. The handling and ride is way better than on stocks. They were around $100 each for 225/40/18 from Tirerack.com. I have also heard many good things about Falcon Azenis from my friends who run them. They are a little more expensive, though.
