Non TRD lowering springs and the warranty
Has anyone had any problems with voiding warranties or anything with non TRD springs? I'm considering getting some Eibach Prokit springs, just wanna know of any important things to consider first.

Everytime someone asks a warranty question... Texas electrocutes a retard.
In other words... please... please... search.
And then read this:

All of it.

Texas can't electrocute retards anymore, according to the supreme court, for future reference And I have read that, what I'm asking is if there have been any specific problems people have encountered that dealerships will not pay for, citing the aftermarket springs as a cause.

If you haven't found the answer... you haven't searched. Plus... the link I gave you IS the answer. There are enough of these damn warranty questions posted every week - it gets annoying.
But since you couldn't find the answer, here's the short version:
A dealer cannot "void" a warranty because you installed something else. However, if you install something non-OEM (even TRD parts can fall in this category) and it causes a problem, they will not cover those specific repairs under warranty. You'll have to pay for them yourself. The rest of your warranty is perfectly valid and in tact.

I think you're misunderstanding me. I'm asking if there are any specific problems that people have encountered, where the dealer will not fix something under warranty, citing the springs as the reason. Like if there is one specific part that goes screwy when you get it lowered, any SPECIFIC problems that people have encountered after getting springs.
I understand that as a whole, your warranty remains intact with aftermarket springs, unless the springs cause the problem. I wanna know what problems anyone has faced after lowering, that the dealer wouldnt cover.
Is that clearer?

man people, the guy is asking if anyone has gone into toyota hoping to get something repaired under warranty but couldnt because toyota blamed the problem on the lowering springs, therfore voiding the warranty. HE'S ASKING FOR STORIES OF PROBLEMS, NOT WHAT COULD HAPPEN

if my shocks do blow i wouldn't even bother trying to get it warrantied. but if an axle broke i would try but i wouldn't be shocked to see them deny it. i don't see what else could really break from lowering a car that they could try to blame on springs.
