Official Raceland Coilovers Thread

I couldn't get the raceland one to tighten down because the shaft kept spinning. I heard someone saying the factory nut is actually stronger too. Not sure about that. But the main reason is that I could only get the RL one on the very top because the polyurethane or w/e was injected at the top of the nut wouldn't allow me to go any further. Someone also said there is a section to grab on with a wrench to tighten it down. I didn't see it but I'll have to look into it if I get the chance.

i belive its nylon thats at the top of the nut. you should use that nut because its a locking nut, idk about the factory nut being stronger but i used the nylock that it came with. I feel better having that nylock on there rather than the regular factory one. just my .02

That's weird Robo, check that well before you cause some damage...

GQQSE13, you should be good to go. My loose nut is my error. A lot of people had the same problem. I just never saw the spot to be able to tighten it more. The rear was easier because it had the top of the threads where you could clamp down with a crescent wrench.

so just to let you guys know. the bumpstops in the rear arent big enough. I now have 2 holes in my cars body (in the trunk) from impact with either my camber arms or my wheels. i havent been able to look yet.
