Official Raceland Coilovers Thread

taking the racelands off.. to many problems with them and only after 5 months. I got them to see how they were and give a review..at first they are nice.. but they start to wear within 2 months.. at 5 months.. its time to let them go
- Driver side keeps sagging bad i raise it and it sags right back..wtf
- Driver side makes clunking noises while turning - this is even after the grease up
- these are good for daily and show but they seem to wear out more and more as each month goes by..
my verdict after 5 months is to part ways and stay away from raceland coilovers. going back to TRD shocks and progress or trd springs..
for those of you that will say im having issues becuase I autocrossed them well i only did 3 times now but only ran about 4 laps at each event so thats 12 laps total.. not much abuse really.
GL with your racelands.. personally i think they suck

^lol yeah I've noticed that the ride just sucks after awhile. Honestly I raised them for the winter and just slammed them again two days ago. They seem to ride better completely lowered than raised up. Their $300 though and really I just wanted them to lower and raise my car for the seasons. They perform perfectly for what I need them to do. Maybe with your driving style and road racing you could benefit spending the extra $400-500 for some F&Fs.

actually....i called them last week and found out that it really doesn't matter. the lady i talked to on the phone said that as long as someone who knows what they are doing does it, it's fine. in essence, as long as the shock/spring assembly isn't scratched, marred, none of the things that aren't supposed to be screwed with aren't, then it's fine. eh that's not verbatim obviously
