I wish people would get over the price tag and just move on. I really do love these coils. I'll stand behind them thru anything. I've beat the hell out of mine for over a year thru winter and summer and still they handle like new. WAY better than my TRD springs/stock struts. Seriously 10% of us track why would we pay $1200 for coils when all we want to do is remove a perch and slam that ish. I understand these aren't meant to be tracked. But for my DD where I put MANY miles on them slammed they are perfect. Sure its a harsher ride and sure its going to be bumpy. But the spring rates reflect that as they should. Just fork out the $300 I garaurantee you will NOT be disappointed. Adjustability/tuckage > lowering springs/struts

To me for someone to say they WONT buy it because it only costs $300 vs $1000+ coils seems like ignorance.. For anyone looking to DROP their car w/DD in mind. BUY THEM lol

I just laugh. people that have a 17k $ car are calling Racelands products cheap and have no trust in them.. Yet guy and girls that drive BMW;s have their products and love them.. but then again. a lot of things don't make sense to me... I think minus the strut bar I will get everything else raceland makes for the tc. You not paying 500 percent mark up for their stuff like with other companies.

I could not agree more. Why pay upwards of 1k for something that's never going to be used for what it was designed, more or less the track. I know that I won't get a chance to own these until after i get back from boot camp but I know that I sure as hell am not paying through my teeth just to lower my car, essentially.

As for the strut bar Macavely, I dont know if my comments made you decide to not get it or whatnot but I will say that it performs just fine, it was just a four-letter word to install, being a real PITA.

thats how some of my honda buddies are. i always ask them when are they ever going to adjust them. from what ive seen all they do is DD anyways. they all want coilovers and they talk as if they are going to track their car everyday. we're all broke college students man! lol

For the price, there is no reason NOT to get these. Honestly. If they last for years and years to come everyone who paid 1000+ for theirs will eat their words and all of us will feel vindicated.

Until then, these are a great, inexpensive option for people who want the adjustability for seasons (higher in winter, lower in summer) and don't want to have to rip out our suspension every adjustment.

They are stiff and bumpy, but c'mon...the spring rates are 2x-3x what stock gives you. Stock front is like 147lbs/in. These are 300+. They feel great!

So just get them and enjoy them!

i think im one of 2 or 3 people to actually have these and auto-x them and i have to say after the year and a half of street driving combined with 4, and now almost 5 track events they have not given me any problems at all. they handle better than stock ever could, give me the adjustability im looking for and dont kill my wallet. i ride them hard almost everyday and push them hard at every event and they still seem brand new in my mind. they were definitely worth my money.

Not at all.. I just already have a DC Strut Bar. I have had it since about a week after I got the car.. My frist bolt on Mod..

and also today I really tested thins thing on street use. I kind of scared my self on the one of the off ramp.. it was 20mph an with out noticing I hit it at 50..yes stupid but after that. I became more secure in feeling this things can handle my style of driving. and I also hit some bad bumps on the road.. and they handle great on quick bounce then back down with solid grip..

Yes from what has been said on the 200+ pages before this one, the folks that have had problems have gotten replacements within a few days (week at most) and have been very happy with it.

I haven't had to use their customer service yet, but I am repeating what others have said in the many posts earlier that might be hard to find in the 200+ pages of this thread (that I seriously read, ugh!)

Finally managed to order mine last week and they came today. Was a little tight on cash after turbo install and tune. Can't wait to get out of work so that i can see them and possibly install them. On average how long does the install take?

My install took 5-6 hours to do. But we had a few problems along the way. If I had to do it again, it probably would take me about 4-5 hours second time around.

Its a lot of labor and you'll likely need someone else to help.

10 Threads in the front, about 13 in the rear. . . Just took care of the stock wheel gap. Installed these about two weeks ago and haven't had any problems at all!

I'm on 0-1 thread left in the front with both collars installed still. Tires are a little big at 225/45.

The rears are on 2-3 threads left and it tucks the same amount of tire.
