For $300 coilovers I think 25k is pretty good. They probably would have lasted longer if they weren't slammed to the max.

OK, here goes for my comprehensive review of the coilovers, this is after riding on them for just over a week.

Price : Can't be beat for a true coilover setup.

Quality : It is beyond what I expected for spending $300, and that goes for the Strut Bar as well. The welds are clean and the threads/sleeves, are not nearly as flimsy as you might thing from the images online. The shocks themselves are decent, but the boot is pretty much junk, so you may want to consider a different or custom boot if you are concerned.

Installation: It was fairly simple, tcdreamer and I managed it, and without the hiccup we ran into it would have taken about 3-4 hours for the full removal and install of RL's on my 2008 tC. All parts are included, except that you will need to use your own top plates and also the upper bump stops to avoid any unwanted movement/noise. I think this is the mistake that some make actually.

Ride: AMAZING for the money. I had Tein Basics on my EK9 and these are VERY close as far as ride quality. That being said, I do NOT have it slammed. I am running them with 12 threads left in the front, and 15 threads in the rear. I have no wheel gap in the rear and I am JUST barely tucking in the front. Super aggressive stance, I love it! The handling is significantly improved, as well as braking.

Company: They were extremely helpful, professional, and shipped my items very quickly. I had them in 5 days. I have nothing bad to say about them.

End all be all: If you aren't going to be using these for AutoX or track use, they are fantastic for DDing. I live in Brooklyn, where the roads are horrid and I manage just fine.

I will post a few pics once the car is clean!

The powder coating on the strut bar flakes off and the 'Raceland' metal sticker thing fell off mine. Other than that I will agree with you.

3Year warranty cant be beat

My coating is fine, for now at least. As far the sticker, mine came in the box with it but not attached. I used super glue and that sucker hasn't moved yet!

I really wish they made an inexpensive rear sway too!

Thank you for your interest in Raceland products and we're glad to hear
your Scion TC coilovers are serving you well.

At this time we don't have anything in development, but we will put your
recommendation on the list so upper management can consider producing
this item. Please keep in mind once the decision is made it would take
up to another year for the product to be introduced to the market.

Sincerely,
Raceland USA

Sorry to hear that. Do you drive in bad roads? Autox? Did you install them correctly?

What did Raceland say after the first replacement? Some members here got multiple replacements from them.

It is hard to say exactly if the installation was accurate since you did not do it yourself. Since we cant ask you questions about the install, we cant really pinpoint what went wrong other than whats given.. I will give the honda tech the benefit of the doubt he did the job correctly..

But why did raceland refuse you another set? What did they say exactly to turn you down?

so how does the warranty work?
do you have to get it done by a raceland mechanic
or is a license mechanic fine?
or can you just DIY and the warranty will still work

From what others have said in this forum.. It is as simple as a call to customer service and state that your struts are blown. They will send out new ones and give postage to return the blown ones.

That is why 99% of the people go with them. The other 1% probably had a bad batch or bad installation/driving habits.
