I'm not going to lie to I have to agree with topekatc.... I used to work for a company called SmartSource, and more then half of the computers we worked on where Dell. they gave the most problems and where always crashing.... look at the Acer brand computer... everybody said they where junk when they first came out.... and now they are one of the top computers out there... same thing for microsoft..... everybody thinks they make the best OS software but Linux Ubuntu is way better then any OS software microsoft ever made... don't knock it till you try.... but I also see where CarbonXe is coming from too

seeing as how my springs will rust to poop anyway...lol

I'll give a few more lab rats a spin before I pull the trigger on this one. I'm still a bit on the fence about this one.

im not gonna lie, i would consider getting these, i have no intention of ever tracking my car, nor do i drive aggresively around the corners, and the streets here are damm near perfect ( save for a few construction areas) so i think they would work for a select few. like it was said earlier, you could buy 4 sets of these for the price of 1 brand name coilover, lol

only problem i can see with these is maybe the shocks blowing prematurely, but im sure they will be fine under normal everyday use!

so whos next? lol

I'll be next..

topekatc good point. I hate how people bash on a product with out trying it out first. Reminds me when the local Audi. MB, Volvo dealerships would flat bed cars to my dads shop, when they had no clue what was wrong with them. Then charge the customers 4 x what my dad would have charged them.

also I'm ASC certified, and I always buy the parts that cost the less. Has anyone bought and alt from autozone . 65 bucks. The exact same one toyota sells for 250 bucks. minus the toyota sticker.

You have to reuse the front upper mount because they dont come with new ones other then needing to get a jack under this thing when it was already lowered it was pretty easy to get them installed

Hope your happy now lol if you have any questions PM me or post and ill get back to them as soon as i can
how much more lower can u go on the coilovers? supposedly my wifes tc is dropped 1.8" on springs and her car is just as low as urs.

If anyone notices anything about this picture, the bushings are rubber not urathane. Anyone who knows anything about suspension, knows urathane bushings are a must and good suspension products come with these bushings. IMO

Well after reading through a few threads on other forums I decided to order these and give them a try.

Here's one of the threads I looked at...
http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4390805

I figure i'm on hotchkis with oem struts right now and I'd like to go a bit lower, and at this price it's worth it to give them a test and a full review for you guys that are on the fence about these.

I live in southgate MI. Ive been riding around on these for a few days now and i have to say i really like the way they feel they dont bounce all over the place and the hold the road pretty well.

I can lower it about another 1/2 front and back but i dont want to get it down there on the terrible roads we have around here.

Also the car is lower now as the suspension is beginning to settle. Id say its gone down another 1/2 inch or so.

I'm giving them a shot... I like the idea of being able to adjust them for the winter, without spending around $1000. If they fail, I can always go back to stock.
