Heroine Bob- Im sure they are, im just saying my experiences are bad. Don't wanna shoo away any of their business but its good to know about the bad sometimes. Mine got drop shipped straight from their place in IL.

For those that want pictures of what my current ones look like, I will be pulling the Stance one off my car tonight and putting on my stockies til my BC's come in. I'll have pictures as soon as my damn photobucket account reactivates. lol

So pretty much i have a set from their first batch. Yes please post pics of their other version. I wonder what they changed, is it the colors or something technically.

Mine are custom spec.

As promise, here are the pictures going in order of problems...

^^^This is was the first problem, of the bolt not fitting cause the hole is too small...

Name: IMG_0497.jpg
Views: 144
Size: 142.4 KB
^^^ This is what the Rear looks like (for reference when you want to see the difference between the new and old set...)

Name: IMG_0511.jpg
Views: 143
Size: 163.1 KB
^^^So they sent me these to replace the rear 2 piece portion. And my tools cause they didnt send me a set last time... (OH might i add, the SECOND set of coilovers they sent me... I still had to replace the bottom portion with these...ridiculous... )

Name: IMG_0544.jpg
Views: 142
Size: 133.1 KB
^^^This is the front at max height... just a little off don't you think? (again, use this as reference when i show the new set...)

Name: IMG_0676.jpg
Views: 150
Size: 128.0 KB
^^^New fronts after i took them off my car (4/21/11) notice the new coating they have used. Suppose to be better.

Name: IMG_0675.jpg
Views: 139
Size: 136.5 KB
^^^My rears, notice that the LEFT is gold underneath the top mount... as for the RIGHT, it has been misaligned and has been rubbing. Thus, solving my problem as to why i have been hearing noises. When you actually feel the right, it is as if metal has been scraping against metal pretty much.

Name: IMG_0677.jpg
Views: 146
Size: 135.7 KB
^^^This one, you can see what i mean a little better...

Hopefully these pictures are helpful and my description... not the best at telling stories lol.

So I thought stance would of fixed everything by now... but I was wrong. I was installing rears and the bolt did not fit into the lower mount just like djshway. Stance is sending a replacement lower mount.

The diameter of the stock hole is about 14 or 15 mm.

It's about 12mm on the stance lower mount.

^That's not good, but you should have measured that before even taking anything apart to install on the car since it's been mentioned and pic posted, may you get the new piece soon.

Heroine_Bob- Hope everything works out for you. They finally agreed to credit the company i got the stuff back and sent me a label so that I can return the coilovers and the lower mounts they sent. I'm unfortunately done with Stance. You should refer to my photos before installing anything else just in case.

They said that I just happen to have one of the older batch, but it seems like they have quite a few bad batches.

OH, btw, wouldn't it be funny if you (Heroine_Bob) received my old set? I would check to see if the FRONTS are the same height when raised maxed out.

I couldnt tell how accurate his measurement was from his pics. It would of been better if he posted the measurement along with the pics. It was actually good that i went ahead and attemped to do it. It forced me to finally take out the rear interior pieces. Ive been putting it off these past couple days
.
Also i was able to post specs and clear it up since i see that others have not installed them yet.

good news is that i should be getting my shipment tomorrow. stance sent them overnight shipping

Yeah that would be funny if i got one of your old set. I should only be getting the lower mounts though. They said that they had 1 pair of the correct size left in stock.

I checked the fronts already and they were good. I actually installed them before the rears.

I have Stance Coilovers on all fours. They are sturdy, but a bit bouncy. I dont think they are as bad as K-Sports though. For the money? Well, its a bit expensive. Wish I would have waited for the Buddy Clubs...I was too impatient. Installation was easy; everything lined up and fit well. No cutting or welding required. I do recommend endlinks, especially if your upgrading your swaybars. Oh, and the Function and Form endlinks dont fit...so dont waste your money and time buying them. Go to newedgeperformance.com. The Dampers are like night and day. The adjustment is easy and noticable. I'll try to get pics up soon...

This tread need some updates. Anyone else running Stance please post your reviews.

Anyway. I'm about to order me a set of those. This will be my third set of coilovers on tc so I'm going all out with it. Im thinking 12/14k springs with custom valved shocks. According to Mengsta its going to be their ssd lineup, not gr+. I'm just trying to figure out all the specs that I need like length of the springs and shocks..
So can any of you guys measure or check length of springs (front and back) on your 7/9k set? Sometimes there are numbers on them like 220 62 07 that means 220mm spring with 62 mm diameter and 7kg/mm spring rate. I emailed Stance but no response. Mengsta been helping me out on here big times. Thanks guys. PM me or just post here if you have any info.

Rears should be fine. Up front you going to rub your fender liners ,bumper clip and most likely fenders. You can always run some camber and 205 tires.

I got my set all figure out now I just need $$$ to order them.

Hey guys. Just installed my STANCE GR+ COILOVERS and well in the last part before putting the tires on i was adjusting the rebound adjuster on the bottom of the drivers side front strut. Well after checking the amount of clicks, going all the way clockwise and then going counter clockwise to click 8, I wanted to make sure I was for sure on 8. So i continued to click 15. I went all the way till i couldnt turn it anymore. So i went all the way back down clockwise. While still hearing clicks, and what I figured was very close to be at full clockwise the adjuster broke clean off. So now the little adjustment shaft just hangs there and i can push it up and down but i can no longer adjust the rebound.

My question is will this require me to send the coilover in to get replaced or will this be fine for the time being ?

If I am picturing what exactly broke off, then you should be okay for the time being in terms of being able to drive it. If just the exterior **** broke off, then you can still drive with it. To fix it though, you might have to send it back in for warranty.
