rears can go 1 1/2 - 2 inches lower, but fronts are maxed out and i took out a ring. hopefully it just has to settle.

sadly the fronts are f2s. rear tires are 225/45. yes they're fat. yes i need to go lower. i know, but rubbing's a major factor and i don't really have the time to screw around with that now.

yeah, i'm disappointed in the fronts, unless i'm doing it wrong. its tucking, just not as much as i had though. and remember that I only put that side front on friday, so i'll still have to let it settle. hopefully it'll go lower...

Have no fear aroddalobster. They will tuck even more just gotta let them settle! heres some full side shots for everyone! Enjoy them. I can keep lowering in the front until the rims, and slam the rears and inch more. This will be my current set up for now though. With this setup and my wide wheels, i can still turn lock to lock without having to worry about damaging my fenders. I do rub in the front, but i will let it just eat away my fenders. rears are A-OK. And Yes this is how i will be DDing from now on. The ride is also very smooth and i put the fronts to the stiffest and rears at around 20. Its so i dont rub, yet im still surprised at how comfortable it was.

Yeeeeee

shinjitai, that looks awesome. for your rears, did you move the spring perches all the way down? or did you get that from just shortening the shock?

thanks. The shock is lowered all the way down so i wont lose shock travel. I'm going to be riding like this so i just did it. The spring perches have about 1 1/2 inches more that i can go. Unless you also take out 1 spring perch o_o, but thats just dangerous.

Heres some close ups

dude, it'll be a matter of time for you to blow your shocks.. if you dropped your shock arm, then they will blow.. I understand that you didn't want to lose shock travel, but unless you get stiffer springs, then your shocks will go out on you.. the more proper way to lower your car would've been to raise the shock arm.

if you did that, then disregard this whole statement... :D

AND YOUR CAR LOOKS GORGEOUS!

That stance is real nice shinjitai. Looks perfect.

Just received them in the mail today. Can't wait to get them on, test out my new camera rig and take pics.

it's still $1,170.00 like it says on the front page. also the shipping is free.

Bought mine on sunday, got proccessed on monday and arrived on friday that same week. Never got a tracking number, but it got here within 5 days so it's not so bad. I'll be installing it tomorrow with my brother, can't wait.

MM, now that you have said that, I am very confused. I thought if you shortened the whole coilover, it would let slam the car and still keep shock travel. And raising the shock arm to lower it o_O? wouldn't that make the car sit higher? I think we know what we are trying to say and it might mean the same thing, but we are just confused on how we are wording it. oh and Thanks for the comment! lol

I'm planning to do an experiment with these coilovers when i finish up repainting my stockers. So please anticipate that!

LOL I'm confused now..

Shortening the shock will slam the car, but if you elongate it and drop the spring perches, your car will also be slammed but with more shock travel.. It's mainly for droop but will give you higher chance of blowing a shock.

But yeah, I think you're right.. LOL so disregard what I said.

And again, you're car is fkin clean!!

GODDAMN BEN I'M CONFUSED NOW

so you're supposed to lower the car by shortening the shock and that'll be better for the shock rather than lowering the car by adjusting the spring perches only right?
i hope so...
