Did some experimenting with my stockers. This is supposedly the lowest we can go in the front. this isnt settled yet so, i'll see if they go any lower. My fender to the floor measures 23 inches.
+ the scion key for reference
and i can keep going lower in the rear.

hit a chunk of tire, lip is somewhere on the freeway, fog popped out. this all happened about 4 months ago. just had no time to fix it, but i'll be installing a new lip, bumper, fogs, grilles all this or next week.

anymore thoughts on these coils, pete said he had problems installing the fronts, anyone else, its hard to tell just how low these can go out of the box cause so many folks in this thread has pulled rings ect. im ordering coilovers this week so i want to make sure i make the right choice

a month bump but i don't care:
I was trying to adjust the height on my coils today ALL DAY and yesterday for most of the day and I only got 1 wheel done!! (Drivers Front)
Does the Safety Perch (Silver ring on bottom of coil) get stuck for anyone else? I was literally trying to get that one perch off ALL DAY today (Front Passengers) to no avail, that ____does not budge.
not to mention the gold ring up top didn't wanna turn the first day (front drivers) until I got a hammer and started pressuring the key.
anyone else have these issues?

hmm.. Were you trying to compress the spring even more? From what your explaining, it seems the safety perch reached as far as it can go. It should mean that your spring is compressed fully and measured 7 inches. If your not compressing the spring then... Spray some wd-40 and hope for the best.
Also I'm attempting to modify my front struts so i can go even lower... Its a crazy idea but i know it will work. My plan is very simple and I'm very certain it will let the fronts drop at least 1-2 inches more. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

yeah, for the lower silver one that goes under the bottom mount, just put more elbow grease on it and it'll break loose. as for the gold one, i can't say anything since i took it out before even installing it lol.
and shinjitai, if it goes lower, PLEASE lemme know. i plan on getting less suv-like tires and dropping it more. rears i'm fine with the amount i could dump it. fronts are still too high for me.
