I didn't have a chance to lower the backs before the rain hit. And yeah, as low as it goes with all of the collars in place.

Txtc27 did you get rid of the cracking noise up in the front? Did you do what dqlostsoulz and yanki01 said?

Yes to both. It still shows up on a really hard bump, but it's pretty good most of the time.

I was talking to ScionJim23, and he told me that in the instructions that was provided in his box (which I did not get) said..

Quoted:
"-Slight noises may be heard from MacPherson Strut type coilovers applications when car is turning, thus causing some "binding" noises at times. This is not uncommon.

-Adjustable end-links are provided in applications that require them, the end links need to be adjusted according to vehicle height.
-the lower the vehicle the shorter the end links. there should be no stress on the endlinks in installed correctly.
-If endlinks are not tightened properly, noises will be heard as well. this is usually the culprit of noises as the locks of the end links are not tightened enough."

Yea mine came with end links but were not long enough, I guess I'm now low enough? That top nut that I tightened up did it for me. Only thing I didn't get a noise when going over bumps, only turning. It sounded like it was the sway bar or something, it was a really hard knock. Actually multiple knocks as I turned the wheel. but it's gone now.

I'm happy with them so far. I wanted them mostly for handling anyways.

Have you removed any of the perches? FYI...The guys using B&Gs are "slamming" by lowering as much as possible by using stock settings for the coils then they remove as many perches as possible and increase the spring rate to go more low.

no i didnt remove any perches cause i heard that i will lose shock travel...and i dont want to mess with the preload cause that will void the warranty on them and i also heard even doing that will lose shock travel.

Not necessarily. If you remove perches it doesn't mean you loose spring load. If you remove the 2 bottom perches it will allow you to move the body upward more toward the spring seat. Same thing with increasing spring load. This will allow more threads to be visible for bottom adjustment. If you decrease spring load however, then you would be messing with the shocks.

Maybe I need to take pics for better reference or make a video...lol

my car seems like it sits about that low rite now....maybe like a finger gap if that and im not satisfied and if your sitting that low even though you removed the perches then im not gonna waste my time in removing them if it makes no difference. im also compressed at 8in. well when you do it keep me posted cause just like you i want to be slammed. but like i said if anyone is interested in the FF2 coilovers im thinking of selling them so just pm me.

Do you have any pictures? Mine has no finger gap. It is baby tucking. How long have you had yours on for. Mine have been on for about a week. I am hoping they settle more. And I will prolly try and compress them this weekend and let you know whats up.

no no pictures but ill take one and post it up..ive been on them for like 3-4 months. im pretty sure once they set it will lower a little more... do you rub? also as for the endlinks did you lower them like the instructions you posted or did you leave them at the height you adjusted them too? cause i tighten the bolt rite below the dampning and it still makes noise..so im hopeing once i mess with the endlinks it stops..does yours make noise still? and yea bro just let me know wuts up once you compress or do whatever to the suspencion to get it as low as possibe.. oh 1 more thing how does your ride feel? lol apologize for all these questions...

Yes I rub all the time. I actually extended them because they were too short. The front sway bar was rubbing on the under body frame. Once I raised them it eliminated the noise. The only noise I hear is when I turn, but apparently that is not uncommon for the endlinks to klink. What you wanna do is look at your car while its on the ground and see where your front sway bar sits. And you will be able to see if it is too close to the body. And make adjustments from there. The ride is actually not bad at all.
