I got my fender work done, so now it's time to lower the car down from 4x4 status, about 1.5".

So I'm adjusting the rears and I get it moved 3/8" - 1/2" and now the inner tube will no longer turn.

Does anyone have any idea why they're doing that? I was going to take them out so I can work on them off the car, but before I go to the hassle of tearing apart my trunk I thought I'd see if anyone here had any ideas.

Thanks.

^ pix of how low your car is with this suspension? Cus the only way ima b slammed is by lowering the perch rings in the rear & removing 2rings in the front.. Cus I'm max out with out messing with the preload or customizing my suspension.

I had a photoshoot the other day so once I get 'em in I'll post them up. But in the rear I got a nice little tuck going on back there.

can these tuck stockies in the front with out removing the 2 bottom perches? I am really looking into getting a set soon. I just want to be able to tuck the front tires about an inch to a inch and a half.

Nope! Betta going of with B&G, or racelands which is event 2x cheaper.....or Stance coilovers.

that really sucks, assaulttech is offering a insane deal on them too. i might just get them and compress the spring to 7 inches and take out the 2 bottom perches. B&G's are way out of my price range. RaceLands are a big NO. And Stance makes coilovers for the tC?

Also does anyone have pictures of the fronts maxed out with out the 2 bottom perches but with out the spring being compressed?

Is it the Type I that goes lower in the front and Type II go lower in the rear? And it'll be a couple of months before Stance coilovers are available.

Both the TYPE I and II lower the same amount and the same way...and you can get some tuckage on the fronts without any modding and decent tuck with removing rings and compressing the springs the right way. As for the rears, they will slam.

Question

I've read on a couple of posts of people compressing their springs to get the height lower. How does one go about this, "the right way."

They both lower the same, don't get me wrong there good coilovers but when it comes to slamming that's a NO! I think all you do is turn the top ring till it can't go any further. (counter clockwise) and then just lock it against the other rings.
