Default A photoshop drop..trying to decide

So I'm trying to pick which springs I want. I looked through the lowered tC thread and that helped but I figured seeing my own car would be more helpful so I did a quick photoshop

Drop 2:

Size: 150.9 KB

And here's a animated gif of all three just for fun haha

Drop 1 is about where I want it, Drop 2 I just did to see how it would look.
So TRDs would probably put me at about #1 right?
I'm strongly leaning for TRDs but not completely sure yet, I might want H-techs or Hotchkis but that would be the lowest I would go. Definitely not S-techs, too low for me, I have a poor habit of not slowing down enough for driveways and speedbumps.
What do yall think?

If you have xB gen 2, H-Techwould be about right, since you got a tC, then I would suggest TRD instead, not getting too low, too trouble imo.

Yea I know that if I was careful about it I could manage S-techs, but I just want to not have to worry, so that I won't scrape in most situations
TRDs handle well correct? The drop is fine enough for me, anything's better than stock. How do they compare to H-techs?

I was gonna get htechs but i decided to get TRD because I got a pretty good deal on it. It is still kind of high, but significantly better than stock. I would go as low as you possibly can. The second picture looks pretty cool.

some of us rather take a better handling instead of go for the lowest, the point to lower is either look good or go fast, that's why we change or go lower, imo if you can't go fast, why bother get lower, definetly kills the purpose of lower springs.

He never mentioned performance or handling, he just said that he was wondering about which ride height to go with, if he isnt worried about performance go with the stechs and just be careful, but if he wants performance he shouldnt get springs at all he should just save his money for some coilovers

Drop 1 is pretty identical to H-techs(I run H-techs). Get em, love em, run em.

Get coilovers so you can dial in the ride height however you want

ehh..really i dont need coilovers, i will never be autoxing this or anything so a set of springs that drop it the right height are good enough for me. i could get a lot of other things for $1000.

I looked around and saw H-techs for $224, is there anywhere lower or is that about the best?

that..seems scary. i would like to but i'll wait on that until more people have results. can you install coilovers by yourself? easier/harder than springs?
