Post Pics Of 18 inch wheels lowered

Damn, I almost felt bad about that...almost...but then I realized she was better off, not having to deal with your a$$!
ouch.
I'm thinking a 42 might be OK with an 8" wide rim, but If I want an 8.5" rim, I'll need a 45, which is the stock offset.

excusse my ghetto diagram, but thi is waht is in my head lol...
ok running an 8.5" wheel with a 35 offset on your drop you would have to worry about the face of your rim an/or the tire hitting the fender, you know that lil piece that sticks out?
ok so you go a 45 offset with the 8.5" wheel to get away from the fender, but because you have pushed your wheel away from the fender inwards wouldnt you have to worry about rubbing the spring/shock area, since you are running a more tucked offset with the width of wheel??
to me this stuf is confusing lol

I beleive with a 45 offset, you will have no issues with the inner at all. 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, all with the same offset will give you the same interior dimension, it will just push the lip out another .5, 1 or 1.5 inches respecitvly.
I could be wrong.
For example, stock rims are 7 wide with 45 offset. Same rims with 50 offset will rub the inside. Same rims with 40 offset will push the entire rim out 5mm.
So, an 8.5 wide wheel will stick the rim of the wheel 1.5inches out further, but the inside will be the same since it has a 45mm offset.
Unless offset is taken from teh center of the wheel, but I though it was from the mounting point.
Oh, you mom says hi.

thats what i was thinking, if the offset measuremnt is taken from the center or the mounting point.
ok so let me see if i get this right, you have a 18x 8.5" wheel, you wanna go a 45 offset.
the 45 offset doesnt push the rim inwards from the hub, but it pushes it outwards towards the fender, there for eliminating rubbing on the inside cause its pushed to the outside????

ok then, the width of the wheel with a tucked offset doesnt push it inward, but outward? i think?
cause mine are are 18x8 with a 35 offset, and i have plenty of space from the insside between the wheel and shock/spring area.
so if i were to run a 8.5" wheel in the rear with out rubbing anything it would have to be a n18x8.5? and the front would remain an 18x8.

If you wanted an 8.5 in the rear, you would want an offset higher then 35. 40-45 would be good, but might look funny cause your fronts would be stiking out further, due to the 35 offset. I don't know if the extra .5 inch rim width would cover the extra 10mm offset or not.

With the front, i think I'd go with somewhere bewteen a 42-45 with that wide of a wheel. Since your only dropped on TRDs, you shoudl be fine, except your abmnormally low TRD fronts!!!
But since you seem so set on getting wider wheels, and I've helped you out so much, I think you should just give me those rims you have now when you get your new ones!

I'm going with the "is that a scion" approach.
HID's
H&R's
255's
M3 Beamer side skirts...
"Is that a scion?!"
